1. China can detonate a megaton-class thermonuclear weapon 100 miles above the surface. The EMP is equivalent to tasering every microchip in the F-22 with 50,000 volts.

2. China can use ballistic and cruise missiles to destroy the oil tanks on the seven US bases in the Pacific. Without fuel, an F-22 can't fly.

3. China can shoot down the KC-135 tankers that are necessary to refuel the short-legged F-22, which has a combat radius of only 435 nautical miles. Without air refueling, the F-22 cannot venture beyond 535 nautical miles including fuel drop-tanks.

4. China can use ballistic and cruise missile cluster bombs to destroy the runway. Without a runway, an F-22 can't take off or land.

5. China can destroy the repair and maintenance facilities for the F-22. Without the elaborate and meticulous repairs to the F-22's 600-pound stealth coating, the F-22 is not stealthy.

6. Using the Chinese KJ-2000 AWACS and KJ-200 AEW&C L-band anti-stealth radars, stealthy J-20s and J-31s can intercept F-22s.

7. Using Chinese ground-based anti-stealth radars (including circular polarization, VHF, or UHF), SAMs can be guided to shoot down F-22s.

8. China is working on the Anjian (ie. Dark Sword) supersonic stealth UCAV, which can maneuver at 12-15Gs. The Anjian should be able to outmaneuver and shoot down the F-22.

In conclusion, China has a myriad of methods to destroy the F-22.

Most of these are solutions that anyone can use against anyone.

EMP? Destroy runways and oil dumps? Please tell us which Fisher Price color book taught you those genius tactics.
No. You're wrong.

Only five countries have thermonuclear weapons that can produce a megaton blast. All five countries sit on the UN Security Council.

An atomic warhead, which India possesses, produces too little energy at 0.02 megaton for an effective EMP.

Your claim that "anyone can use against anyone" is clearly not true.

Here is China's 3.3 megaton hydrogen bomb test in 1967. It has been miniaturized over the past 50 years to become a devastating megaton-class EMP warhead.

The Chinese DF-5A ICBM carries a five megaton warhead. The Chinese DF-3A IRBM carries a three megaton warhead.

So you want India to produce a Megaton-level weapon?

It is irrelevant. India has no such capability. Thus, do not claim that "anyone" can do it.
It is relevant since you are on an Indian defense forum so obviously you have a world view and you think India has a certain part to play in the world. You wouldn't be on an Indian forum if India were irrelevant to your motivation to join it. You are here because obviously you have an opinion about India and its role, otherwise you'd be spending your valuable time in some other echo chamber.

It is with this context that I am asking you, assuming that India doesn't have megaton capacity bombs, do you think the world would be a better place if India had that capacity or should India rather not go that way?

India does not have:

1. Thermonuclear weapons
2. Stealth fighters
3. Anti-stealth radars

Hence, on my list of eight ways to destroy the F-22, it is specific to Chinese military capability.

Let's assume it doesn't have the capacity. Do you think the world will be better served if India had that capacity? I'm asking for the sake of an academic debate. What's the point of being on a niche forum if you don't want to share ideas with others?

It is pointless to discuss far-fetched hypotheticals.

India had 40 years to develop a hydrogen bomb since the 1974 Smiling Buddha atomic test.

China only took 3 years from the 22-kiloton atomic blast in 1964 to the 3.3-megaton hydrogen bomb blast in 1967.

Obviously, India is nothing like China.

Hence, it is silly to discuss India having the hydrogen bomb. India lacks the technological capability.

Obviously India is not like China, we don't have a Tienanmen square and we don't roll tanks over our dissenting people. That's besides the point. It's still a legitimate question.

After having all those mega weapons, why is it that the 'Great Superpower China' feels so insecure that they have to send you to seek validation on internet forums? Also, if you are so great, why do you feel that having a diseased state like Pakistan on your side is necessary to protect your sovereignty ?

P5 Nations Sanctioned us after 1974.
And we could do only limited tests, even in 1998 due to international pressure. So, questioning our capability is also pointless.
We have got edge in many critical nuclear techs in 21st century.
So, it won't be difficult for us to make them in a short time period. :D
Moreover, sanctions affected funding of our conventional weapon projects so we don't have stealth and anti stealth systems.
But no problem. We are now making them as our economy is now in much better condition. :biggrin2:

It sounds exactly like something coming out of NoKo praising their Great Leader..Kim..kin..etc.etc.

If everything fails.. CCPians would fart together to create a sonic boom that can destroy F-22

Literature from NoKo..resembling chinese harrypotter Propagandtits:

According to North Korean historical literature, Kim Jong Il was born in a log cabin inside a secret base on Korea’s most sacred mountain, Mt. Paekdu. At the moment of his birth, a bright star lit up the sky, the seasons spontaneously changed from winter to spring, and rainbows appeared.

According to North Korea’s newspaper Rodong Sinmun, Kim Jong Il’s iconic style has become a global phenomenon.

According to state-run media, Kimg Jong Il is the most prominent statesman in the present world, and people in countries the whole planet over celebrate his birthday with films and festivals.

North Korean newspaper Minju Joson reported that Kim Jong Il invented a new sandwich called “double bread with meat” in an attempt to provide “quality” food to university students.

In 1994, it was reported by Pyongyang media outlets that Kim Jong Il shot 38 under par on a regulation 18-hole golf course – including 5 holes in one!

Kijong-Dong is a propaganda city that was originally built in the 1950s by Kim Jong Il’s father right on the border, this was to display the North’s superiority to the South and also to encourage people to defect. It has no actual residents, but an extensive effort has been put forth to simulate a functioning city, including lights on set timers, and street sweepers to create an illusion of activity.

First find F22 then you can detonate Mega mega mega ultra zillion trillion ton nuke on your air space
