Should India bid for Asian Games? May be for 2018 or 2022?

Should be organised in Pune, Bangalore or somewhere in UP or Bihar

Definitely, India should host Asian games whenever possible. It has two or perhaps three fold benefits.

One, it will increase awareness of sports other than cricket and influence many young minds to participate in sports.

Two, it will help us in building sports infrastructure that can be used by our sportsmen as a training ground when the games are over.

Three, it will fire up our athletes to get more medals like it did in Common Wealth Games 2010.

But, no such games in Delhi anymore. I think other cities should get a chance. Hyderabad should host the games as it has very good sports infrastructure left behind when it hosted National games which can be improved and used for Asian games .

i think it should be Delhi.as Delhi has the infrastructure from commonwealth games. if it is new venue or city then,10000 of crores again will be spend for corruption

One of the reason of hosting the games is that you will have strong reason to build some infrastructure for sports.
It should be hosted where there is not much infra.

Thats how you get more people involved in sports.

Yes, provided we have installed clean and green toilets on all our long distance trains and every person in the country has access to a toilet.

We cannot sacrifice on our defense spending, but we can definitely put a stop to all these extravagance, when we have more pressing needs elsewhere.
