Beijing, Nov 25 (IANS) Many women passengers in China were left embarrassed after the inter-city bus they were travelling in started playing pornographic videos during their journey.

The bus, plying on the Dalian-Pulandian route in northeastern Liaoning province, showed pornographic videos to passengers, the Shanghai Daily quoted the daily Peninsula Morning Post as reporting.

Two X-rated films were played Sunday, causing embarrassing to all the women passengers but amusing their male companions, it added.

'What a shame,' said one of the women passengers named only as Li, adding that she was left with no choice but to feign being asleep like other women passengers in the bus.

Porn videos had been shown on this bus a few times before, another passenger said.

The bus operator, meanwhile, has launched an investigation into the incident and assured to punish the driver and conductor if the accusation was found to be true.
