We have poverty no one denying it but in the same report India is better than 42 countries (%wise) but they got picture only from India

2)Two British couple suicide in India

Did British drug death couple die in 'Romeo and Juliet' suicide pact? Family fear young newlyweds may have killed themselves in despair at India's grinding poverty :frusty:

James and Alex Gaskell found beside wide array of prescription drugs
Indian police say teachers, aged 27 and 24, overdosed in locked room
Stepfather says couple 'continually smacked in face' by India's poverty

Mrs Gaskell's stepfather, Greg Pyke, said the couple may have taken their own lives in despair after being 'continually smacked in the face' by the country's shocking levels of poverty.

Suicide by Brits who were depressed is being blamed on India poverty too? That's a new one.

Looks like British media has gone insane about India after the recent Mangalyan event.

well i personally appreciate the concerns of the couple - no harm there , methinks it's their decision

as for the brit media - if they are living in the past, good luck - one day they will have to wake up to the hard reality

no avoiding that

in terms of making an "announcement " to the world that India has technology ,
im sorry to have to say that the mangalayan does little if anything to take that message to the world

nothing less than a manned mission into space will prove the point to the world - if that is what is desired

Those guys seems are drug addicts who took over dose of pills and dead !!

Their media is writing a story around it.

There is lot in common between Britain and India, Both are democracies and both share common strategic goals in this world, But the British media portrayal of India is amateur at its best !!

I am sure that all those countries who already send satellites in space using India's space program think otherwise.

As far as making an announcement goes :

Mangalyaan success "pride of Asia", says China - The Hindu

" China has hailed India's success in positioning a satellite in the Martian orbit, calling the interplanetary triumph of the Mangalyaan as "the pride of Asia".

Generous in her praise, Hua Chunying, foreign ministry spokesperson said in response to a question: "This is pride of India and the pride of Asia, and landmark progress in humankind's exploration of outer space so we congratulate India on that." "

No matter what the media says or portraits..the truth that is INDIA, an emerging force remains.
A day or later they will wake up to this fact, media or not. That is a hard reality.

After US these colonial Brits are powerful in Propaganda by using their Media

Anyway i knew it but not millions visits these fkg pages
YOu said it, Its a propaganda and the nature of propaganda is that Propaganda has a shelf life and truth does not.
A day or another the Brits will wake up to a hard reality, like many western nations waking up from their deluded dreams (From categorical denial of terrorisms to realities about economy). YOu can hear the media playing a whole new tune then which ofcourse is the nature of media.

Does anyone swear by whats in the media? A blonde moment..."Like in Real?"

In a way the headlines is evil genius. Soften the tragedy and also insert a possible doubt that can make other tourists apprehensive about touring India.

Only Brits can scheme such tactics!

Just curious, before I jump to conclusions. Is it that British media writes such articles about all countries or some countries or targeted countries?

Anyone who has tracked this topic is welcome to answer.

As Indians it is natural that we bother only about articles written about india, I want to find out if there is pattern to what British media reports.

I saw this bias towards India, Russia, Israel etc.

Mostly on a prominent brit media they have a hate towards Indias achievements.
Everytime Indians make an advancement in technology , the closing paragraph of that article speaks about lack of toilets in India and Brits obsession with toilets.

The best part is the more criticism we get the more correctional measures we take, the more dilusional the Brits turn their people into with their media, they resemble more like our Western neighbour

An example about Brazil:

Brazil's female population reaps World Cup benefits | Daily Mail Online

"At least Brazil's women have scored! Host nation's female population, which greatly outnumbers the men, reaps the benefits of the World Cup with so many football fans arriving"

Look at the contradictions in that article :

They're handsome, sweet, humble and generous,' Moitinho said as her friends grabbed hold of the Italian's hips to lead him in samba's hallmark sway.
'They respect women and don't come on strong like Brazilian men, who just grab on to you and try to kiss you right away. They're much more gentlemanly.'

Catia Santiago, a 35-year-old single mother, agreed.
'I've never had the money to travel, so I thought all men were like Brazilians — very fast, very aggressive,' Santiago said as she soaked in the rays on Copacabana beach.

Brazilian newspapers have run stories with local women complaining about foreigners' wandering hands and sense of entitlement.

==============================

This kind of reporting would one make seem that Brazil is full of easy but poor women waiting to be wooed by foreigners or be picked up as hookers.

You decide if this kind of reporting is really innocent/neutral or not.
