i have personally seen both planes in paris airshow 2011. In layman terms i found rafale more agile

That's because Rafale pulls 10G maneuvers at air shows, EF doesn't go over 5.5G.

Despite jingoism by some french members i really do wish we go for the Dassault Rafale, its simply the best design out there, EF is still an collaborative disaster. I wish the French reduce the price and make it more attractive.
