Srinagar: In the second fratricide incident within a week, an Indian border guard shot dead his colleague outside the Air Force Station in Indian administered Kashmir on Friday morning.

Police sources said BSF trooper (Head Constable P K Hanjak) of 2nd battalion allegedly fired from point blank range on his colleague Susheel Kumar outside Airforce Station Awnatipora, some 35 kms south of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir this morning, causing his on spot death.
"Later, Hanjak was detained by BSF men," they said.
They said a scuffle had taken place between the two BSF men some days back.
A senior police officer while confirming the incident said a case has been registered.
"We have registered a case and are awaiting the postmortem report. Further investigations are going on," he said.
He said the accused border guard has been detained by BSF for further investigations.
This is the second incident of its kind in a week.
Earlier, three paramilitary CRPF personnel were killed and another critically injured by one of their colleague in a fratricide incident inside a paramilitary camp in Kulgam on Saturday last.

Who says only India? It happens everywhere but is only reported here so openly. Sadly the apathy at topmost levels of our government cause soldiers to become frustrated.

Soldiers need sex at regular intervals for them to be in their senses.

If their chain of command was aware of a problem, perhaps the shooting could have been prevented.

Poor man management and too much of time to kill!

That is why games is taken as a parade where the chaps let loose their energy and also build up camaraderie. It also allows the officer who also play with them to realise the mentality of chaps - whether they are selfish, team player, get angry for little reasons etc etc.

Nowadays, all pretend that they have no time and so they poodlefake.
