Bilateral Ties: China to help Pakistan with anti-terror efforts – The Express Tribune


In order to promote the strategic partnership between the neighbours, China offered special assistance to Pakistan with its counter-terrorism efforts.
While addressing the inauguration ceremony of 'China Hall', established at the newly-founded Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad (SSII), China's ambassador to Pakistan, Liu Jian, said on Wednesday that his country's commitment to the betterment of its neighbour remains steady.

China will seek solutions and policies based on national needs, he said.

Jian highlighted the repercussions of the war on terror, and said the growing cooperation in counter-terrorism initiatives was essential. "China will always stand by Pakistan," he promised.

SSII Director-General Dr Shireen Mazari thanked the ambassador for his time, his gift of books and the conference system at the institute.
At the occasion, former foreign minister, Inamul Haque, also spoke on the expanding ties between the two countries.

in short china just want to route out its turkestan rebels( this word used because chinese word is difficult). the roots of evil lies in lawless pakistani areas and china can thru this channel wipe out its separatist headache.

this is what it seems. rest terrorism in pakistan is so evolved and organized with entire society into terrorizing atleast one other community in paksitan or other countries

the roots of evil unlickily lie in prcs own territory in xinjiang.

even a few foreign hand factors are there they dont just come from pak...and even some come from pak i think pakistani government has done something to curb.

a number of countries bodering xinjiang indeed need to be heeded to some extent so the foreign hand can be cut off in theory.

and to deal with those factors we choose to cooperate with their governments including pakistani rather than doing anything else.

i think although there have been conflicts between india and pakistan population of pak has been growing since 1947.

of course excluding the element of pakistan civil war in 1970s.

looks like more pak fights india more people they got.

Why all this drama? I think pakis should join china & handover internal security, defense, economy & external affairs to china.

This is the only solution to peace in Indian subcontinent. along with china, pakis can also grow & can become number 2 in the world. This will also end of Terrorism in pakistan.
