Earlier this month the Bangladesh Cricket Board had announced that the national team would tour Pakistan for a short two match series.

"Bangladesh will not visit Pakistan for now," BCB chief Nazmul Hasan told reporters Dhaka.

"We've made the decision after considering the overall security situation in Pakistan and the concern that our people have expressed over the safety of their players."
