India declares itself corona virus free, with many speculating if Indians are resistant to the virus or if the Indian curry is antiviral

As East Asia and the Middle East are in the haze of the novel coronavirus epidemic, China’s neigh-boring country India declares itself infection free recently arousing many to speculate if Indians are resistant to the virus, if Indian curries have antiviral properties or India just performs well on virus prevention and control.

There were only three confirmed cases of the coronavirus in India’s Kerala who studied in Wuhan, the epicenter. They were recently discharged from hospital after recovery, meaning India is now in-fection free, Indian media Hindustan Times reported.

The latest data by the World Health Organization also shows India had no new confirmed cases as of Saturday, excluding the previous three reported patients who became infected while in China.

The zero confirmed cases in India, a country of 1.38 billion, aroused the interest of Chinese netizens to find out why. A story circulating on Chinese media joked that "Indian food and climate make it diffi-cult for people to catch epidemic diseases,” or “poor sanitation in India is what keeps India immune” went viral on Sunday.

Experts and residents from India dismissed popular speculations, saying the good epidemic situation in India is due to the rapid and strict response from its government as a nation with limited medical resources, while saying that if it had a similar outbreak to Wuhan, it would not be able to stand the onslaught of infection.

When the first three confirmed cases were found, the local Kerala state government declared an emergency and prolonged the quarantine period of 14 days to 28 as a precautionary measure. Thousands of people were subsequently under observation in their homes, which is "a very timely and strong measure to curb the virus from a local government level," Xie Chao, an expert at Tsing-hua University's Department of International Relations, told the Global Times.

"The Indian government acknowledges its limited public medical resources would pose a danger to the whole country, and may cause a national disaster if the virus is not properly controlled,” said Zhao Gancheng, a research fellow at the Shanghai Institute for International Studies.

It remains uncertain whether the data regarding the COVID-19 infections in India are accurate and observers said there could be omissions and concealments given the potentially inadequate statisti-cal methods and diagnostic techniques.

Harman, a resident from Delhi, also told the Global Times Sunday that it would be very difficult for Indians to handle such an epidemic outbreak, especially lower class people who have no access to good medical resources. Harman said he is worried about the situation in India would deteriorate as the Indian government doesn’t seem very concerned and the general public is not wearing masks either.

Zhao said it was maybe just a coincidence that India performed well in this outbreak as the virus mainly targets middle-aged people, but not the young. Despite this, large quantities of Indian nation-als from Wuhan are young students.

As epidemics frequently occur in India, the Indian government has learned lessons and attaches great importance to the coronavirus’ potentially wide range, experts said.

India has longtime been a victim of epidemics. Since the outbreak of H1N1 in 2009, India has not escaped from the shadow. The death toll of the epidemic reached 2,000 at some point from 2014 to 2015. When Ebola reached India in 2018, it caused 2,000 people to be forced into quarantine.

When asked if Indian spices are helpful to prevent the virus as many speculate, Chandresh D Shah, a resident from Chennai city, in southern India, told the Global Times that he believed "spices, herbs, religious rituals and vegetarianism might be collectively beneficial in tandem”.

Weeks after India evacuated around 640 nationals from Wuhan, the government declared that all of them tested negative for the novel coronavirus. India has sent its Air Force planes for the third time to repatriate its nationals. 21 airports in India have started to screen passengers with possible coro-navirus infection, from China, Thailand, Japan and Singapore, Indian media outlet Scroll reported.

Look at the idiot title of Global times and their B**t hurt as the country of 1.38 bn people is Corona Virus free while shit Chine has locked its population in houses. On one side they wonder how can be a country with 1.38 bn population with poor sanitation (According to them) be corona virus free? On other hand these dirty people say that because of Indian's immunity by living in poor sanitation conditions, Indian's immunity is high. When people has misconception about themselves and about others, they fail to realize the true picture. Instead of learning a lesson from India, these dirty people do not fail to expose their ignorance and ego.

    Read bellow quotes:

India declares itself corona virus free, with many speculating if Indians are resistant to the virus or if the Indian curry is antiviral

"Indian food and climate make it diffi-cult for people to catch epidemic diseases,” or “poor sanitation in India is what keeps India immune” went viral on Sunday.

India also sent medical supplies despite it's poor medical resources.
China suars also suffered because of their high medical resources.

It’s actually extremely surprising that India does not have an epidemic , countries left and right of us are reporting huge spikes. Either we have been incredibly lucky with no major outbreak or there is something else at work here.

Me wondering the same, with the kind of spitting and splattering we do, it's surprising that we are virus free.

Its not about luck, first we knew what is coming our way and secondly we had experience in controlling a more deadly Nipah virus earlier. Nipah taught us a lesson, all the secondary infection due to Nipah was transmitted to persons in the hospital, who were in touch with the first person with Nipah. It included nurses and doctors who had not taken protective measures. This time we just eliminated secondary infection from hospital all together. Then we already knew the persons who were in touch with the infected and it was easy to quarantine them.

Why we can't start making terrible jokes and memes about Chinese ?

We know they eat dog, bats, cats, monkeys, donkeys, rats, baby rats, snakes , snails, grasshopper, insects.
Statistically we know they have smallest penises .
We know they worship whites and Chinese families love to sell their daughters to old white men.
What else umm yeah we know Chinese steal and copy other people hard work.
Chinese people have low moral values as they have already lost their culture.
Oh yeah we also know that during cultural revolution Chinese kids ranted onto their mother to CCP and got their own mother killed.
We also know that Chinese people are slaves who work in factories and commit suicide as they have no hope in their lives.
We also know that Chinese are so greedy that they leave their 5 year old kids alone so that they can make money.
We also know not to trust Chinese.

List can go on and on.

Its just a ticking time bomb when it's time come it will explode . looking at the way these guys even handled the first lot of students who came from wu han i am not surprised the virus is here and we are not detecting it . who knows people may be dying and we might think its just pneumonia or some other respiratory disease . Or we may even think its some other viral infections . Tell me apart from Delhi which other hospitals even have testing facilities capable to handle 1000s of patients samples ?

We are not at all lucky, Its just hidden before it will make a strike . Will be similar to the recent delhi stunt people thought all is nice and then the mayhem came and now everyone it sitting stunned .

but yes even Nepal , Bangladesh,Srilanka and Myanmar have not declared too many cases too .

It can be traced back to our culture and our extreme focus and exploration of what to eat and what not. Earlier also, we had such epidemic such as bird flue, swine flue etc but we managed it with minimum damage. These cockroach eater guys have a misconception that their food is hygienic but it is exactly opposite to that. If we once again go back to our traditional food habit, our health can improve further.

Arrey bhai, already so many people in India have respiratory diseases. I think it was 1/3 person in Delhi has it. Toh it is so easy to mask the casualty. And even if that is not the intend we don't have proper testing kits and equipment which will allow our doctors to test whether it is NoCoVid19 or something else.

Our memes probably wont make it past China's digital iron curtain. If they were able to resist American sponsored color revolution for so many decades, it seems like a steep hill to climb. The US managed to to get a foothold and instigate a mob in Hong Kong due to slightly open internet.

its not about eating its about the human to human transmission , Look at Iceland Spain Netherlands Brazil all got positive patients who visited Italy and nothing to do with eating Bat shit like Wu han residents .

The virus is way out of what you eat stage . its now spreading from human to human way .

Look at our country yesterday i was in metro a guy was sitting next to me and coughing non stop . when i told him please use handkerchief and cough he started bla bla people don't even have basic civic sense how to act in public spaces when sick and here we are thinking our food habits is preventing us .

So many Indian's travel to Thailand,Singapore and Bali who knows how many there came close to Chinese tourist and how many got infected .

We still not issued any travel restrictions to people from China,Japan,Korea and Singapore

Yesterday Hyundai factory worker in korea got diagnosed positive now imagine how many of them travelled to Hyundai factory in chennai , how many samsung executives travelled from korea to india in last one month non stop .

Its just a big joke when we say there are no positive cases , Lets accept we don't have the capacity to detect .

Best part is that chinki fuckurs are staring down the barrel here....there population was already in decline, now cocrna has wiped out 2% of population (no exaggeration!). And it will take atleast 5 years to get back economically ....so no wonder china is butthurt.....with strong govt in center who can take rapid steps to replace chinki substandard manufacturing, I can see why chinki bat eaters might be angelry and jealous of india

What i say is that eating certain kind of food will improve your immunity towards certain epidemic. When flue is high, vaidya recommend us to remain away from eating cold things, consuming ginger powder , black peeper will keep this deceases away from us. When malaria etc are happening overwhelmingly, eating certain food and sudarshan ghanvati like Ayurveda medicine protects one from the same. Recently , in Pakistan when some epidemic broke out, the government recommend not to eat chicken. So food plays a very important role in protection from decease whether it is life style decease or some epidemic. Read bellow. They exactly wants to know this only.

When asked if Indian spices are helpful to prevent the virus as many speculate, Chandresh D Shah, a resident from Chennai city, in southern India, told the Global Times that he believed "spices, herbs, religious rituals and vegetarianism might be collectively beneficial in tandem”.
