Why does the submarine attack missile have to go in circle before hitting the target (Submarine), why can't it go for a direct hit?

I think those American Senators have a reason to be concerned about India. The IN's animation even shows a Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruiser and Virginia Class Attack Submarine being targeted by IN's anti-ship cruise missiles and anti-submarine charges/torpedoes... :confused2:

thats RuN animation, not Indian,,....... its a very old video,......

Really old, the unitary launcher never became unitary... it just launches Brahmos/Yakhont.
