Neither is sexual assault, but you can see how that is being handled over there. The sad fact is, if you are rich and well connected, the laws do not apply to you not in India and not in America. Law is for the poor folks. And yes, US is way ahead of us in enforcing those laws.

you misunderstand about what me was saying , you are talking about law and order and civil society and you probably read about how blacks are being incarcerated or how millionaires at wall street have given bailouts for their financial malpractices or oil companies executives walks free after oil spills into the sea or like you said about the sexual assault charges on trump ,

terrorism and hit and run where people getting killed is different than all these things ,

there could be someone like oj simpson who got a free pass from murder charges after his highway drama but only because of inciting that he was wrongly framed because he is black and court bogged down to it because to avoid another social tension after rodney king got killed by white cops ,

but hollywood is a different than a place of law and order , there are many hollywood actors or actress whose career ended because of very lesser things like drugs , domestic violence , racial slurs , inappropriate behaviours , crazy or drunk drama or attitude ,

another example me would have given to you but dont exactly remember about the actress whose career ended after media coverage of her car hit and killed a dog ,

and these things are a lot menial than terrorism and hit and run , its not like a hollywood sex scandal where it could be settled by paying money outside court but the money would be at tens of millions of dollars , its no joke there are examples of that ,
even if these celebrities walk free from the charges they are not gonna be the movie star again ,

after these things hollywood industry , studios and advertisers totally blacklists them and so their career either gets completely or virtually ended and even if after that they are somehow are appearing on the tv doesnt mean they would be getting back on the stardom ,

its hollywood and once you lost your place by disgrace then it stays that way ,
no one gonna try to whitewash your image by a movie to make money because you cannot find another actor and if someone is making a biographical movie it wont be a whitewash because then it gonna be a bombed at box office and by critics and audience .
