Itanagar:Raising an important issue relating to wrong depiction of Arunachal Pradesh in Google Maps, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki requested Google for corrective measures and made the matter very clear that 'Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and will always remain so'.

Tuki visited Google Headquarters, Mountain View, California, USA on an invitation by Google for the Google Global Education Symposium of Ministers, yesterday, an official release said here today.

The Chief Minister appealed Google to rectify the mistake keeping in the mind the sensitivities of the people of Arunachal Pradesh and India as a whole. Google has assured to look into the matter and rectify it soon.

Why does google matter so much ? We should concentrate on the UN maps instead.

Google does matter a bit, because Google can create misunderstanding in the minds of masses, ya know kinda like the distorted history lessons of Pakistanis. These days people swear by Google.
Its an attempt to keep the geography clean at all levels.

The country who controls the territory must be shown in a political map. It is really simple to understand. There is no war going on in Arunachal Pradesh that it can be shown as contested.
