This video is a great public service.
There is no secrets lost to China. They already are aware of everything in Indian side.
It is the Indian public which does not. Hence this video showing the state of Indian infrastructure is eye penning.
This video is at least four years old during the Presidency of last Chinese strong man. I do not know whether any improvements have been made or not. I believe some dirt road building is in progress in Damchoke area. Chinese came a couple years back and tried to stop it. It was resumed later.
As the colonel says in the video, these dirt and gravel roads are fine for army traffic. These may not be good for civilian traffic. There are than two hundred civilians in the area. Hence building a four lane metalled road is pointless. These are destroyed in the first shelling during conflict. Chinese are crazy. They have too much export cash, they do not know what to do with it. Hence they begin building roads. It keeps their population base occupied.

Building roads and infrastructure should be given high priority and if Chinese soldiers play hide and seek game, Detaining them will send a clear message to not to mess with India.

What needed to be done back then is full mobilizations of the forces, What was done is a drama for Indian Public and some tea cups with Chinese ..
Firstly bad fishes from the forces needed to be kicked out, As well as mordanise Military forces with a dose of High moral ..
Then we can do something good ..
