pakistani generals did right thing to lock this AQ khan into jail or house arrest whatever. if they would have let him wander freely he might have sold the blueprints to many other nations which could have wrecked havoc. well paki army did the same but only sold it to korea and iran which i think is not related to India anyhow. given pakistanis wouldnt have got their hands over nukes thru AQ khan, all ghauri, ghazi and haft series missiles would have been non existing.

agentperry, you are falling for the paki crap. AQ is right, he was sacrificed by the Pakis. Whatever be did was under active support of Paki Generals. It's like saying terrorism is not linked to Pak. The Americans bought this story of Pak because they had no choice but wink while the WoT was on. Why didn't Pak hand him over for questioning? He would have leaked quite a bit. And why haven't Pakis bumped him off? Coz be has told them that if be is bumped off, all the documents bs has compiled about Pak proliferation will be handed over to the US.

holding a country accountable is more easy than doing same with an individual. current eg- is julian assange. yes pakistani generals are dangerous but aq khan is worse off. it is required to infect pak reactors with stuxnet rather than destroying them for peacefully de-nuking pakland. and the proliferation they had done. world has no remedy for it.

AQ was just a front man. There are enough doubts that he even knew enough about nuclear technology to have moulded the Paki nuclear programme. He's a convenient scape goat for all Pakis- military and civilian; there tallel-than-mountain friends and some Western elements who actively cooperated to get the Paki nuclear system up and running. AQ Khan was and is no more dangerous than a spat chewing gum.
