Anti-whaling activists' drone tracks Japan fleet - Yahoo! News

Anti-whaling activists intercepted Japan's harpoon fleet far north of Antarctic waters on Sunday, they said, with the help of a military-style drone.

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society spokesman Paul Watson said the unmanned long-range drone, launched from the anti-whaling ship the Steve Irwin, had located the Japanese fleet and relayed the coordinates back to the activists.

Guess that's the only method to stop these ruthless whaling companies with their inhuman practice. If there is something I dislike about Japanese and Norwegians, it is the barbarity they show to whales and sea lions/seals etc.

It is amasing how high tech Sea Shepards have gotten over the years. It has more resources than small coast guards.

I wonder what is this fascination with whale meat.

In SCS, they catch sharks, cut the fins and throw the dead sharks back into the water. That is another cruel thing that happens.
