During the speech he said to the audience that henceforth agar kuch ho jayein toh tum bhi kuch karo aur fir mereko phone karo. Ab uska koi banda kuch karke iske pass jayega toh yeh bolega bro it was not my voice.

Today Owaisi was produced at Sangareddy I-town PS. His partymen tried the usual "unlawful arrest! government is anti-Muslim" cattle feces. 5 minutes behind local police' canes dispersed them.

Asaduddin Owaisi is accused number 1 in Medak case, may be arrested | Deccan Chronicle

Stating that there is a non-bailable warrant pending against MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi in a case booked against him in 2005, Ramachandrapuram DSP M. Madhusudhan Reddy said, "We will arrest him and bring him to court."

According to Patancheru police, the Owaisi brothers, along with other MLAs, had protested against then Medak collector Anil Kumar Singhal during road-widening works at Mutangi village of Patancheru mandal on April 16 in 2005. They had obstructed officials from carrying out their duties alleging that a place of worship was being damaged, the police said.

The Owaisi brothers had surrendered in court in 2009, and got bail. However, they had failed to appear before the court for the next hearings though four other MIM MLAs, who were also accused in the case, had turned up, the police said.

The case booked against them was under Sections 147 (punishment for rioting) 153 A (promoting enmity between groups), 353 (assault on public servant obstruc-ting him of discharging duties), 290 (punishment for public nuisance), 295 (deliberate acts to outrage religious feelings) and 506 (criminal intimidation) among others.

Meanwhile, based on a private petition filed by advocate Prabhakar Goud, the VII Metropolitan Magistrate of the Hayatnagar court issued orders directing the Vanasthalipuram police to book a case against Akbarudding Owaisi for his recent hate speech under Sections 121, 153-A, 295-A and 298 of the IPC. Inspectors of both police stations said they were yet to receive the court orders.

Cases filed againt MIM MLA Ahmad Pasha Qadri for insulting Mahatma Gandhi.

Based on a private petition filed by advocate M P Bhargav, the LB Nagar court issued directions to the LB Nagar police to book cases against Pasha Quadri under Sections 121, 295-A, 298, 153, 153-A, 120-B, 124-A and 125 of the IPC for his remarks on Mahatma Gandhi's statue at the Assembly premises. The MLA had made the controversial remarks while addressing a gathering of students and MIM supporters at Ruby functional hall in Jagityal of Karimnagar district. The Karimnagar II Town police have already booked a case in this regard against Pasha Quadri and the Jagityal police have referred a complaint against the MLA for legal opinion.

He actually said, why is there a Gandhi statue in the (Andhra) Assembly ? It was the Nizam who built this city (and hence only his statue should be there).

Dont know whether this deserved the Sec 121 or Sec 124..But this guy specifically needs to be chastised. He has earlier slapped police officers. fired in the air to disperse govt officials who were demolishing a building and got away with that.

I think it is a futile case against Quadri. He has contempt for Gandhi and for India in general. I don't think you get jailed for contempt of things Indian.
If Hindus were up in arms and killed a few because of Quadri's speech, he could be booked for inciting violence though, which too didn't happen.

Akbaruddin Owaisi's judicial custody extended - India - DNA

An Andhra Pradesh court on Tuesday extended MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi's judicial custody till February 5 in a hate speech case.

As the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) legislator's 14-day custody was ending on Tuesday, the police produced him in the munsif magistrate's court in Nirmal, about 200 km from Hyderabad.

The court extended his judicial remand by another two weeks.

The MIM leader was later shifted back to district jail in Adilabad town, about 90 km from Nirmal.

They reportedly Trapped passengers by closing all the windows
and the main door and poured petrol on the bus and fled away

The Bus driver M Krishna a resident of Kurnool is in serious condition was shifted to Osmania Hospital

A group of 15 persons, including an Imam of a mosque, were allegedly responsible for the RTC bus burning incident at Kalapather near the Mir Alam filter bed on the night of January 21 (Monday), the police claimed.

While the Imam of Masjid-e-Badar, Syed Dastagiri, and seven others were arrested, a hunt was on for the other accused, South Zone DCP Tarun Joshi said at a press conference on Wednesday.

The group wanted to create a sensation in the Old City taking advantage of the current volatile situation, he said.

The DCP maintained that the incident had no communal angle.

"None of the persons involved in the bus burning case have any political affiliations. Barring Dastagiri, most of the other accused are youngsters," Mr. Joshi said.
