Akar Patel , John Dayal or anyone else from the award Waapsi giroh are not doing what they are doing out of ideological reasons. I don't have trend data to back this up but these "tools" get activated from time to time when ever there is an election or a Parliament session or if the Italian High Priestess is dragged before the courts.
Can't the BJP/RSS/Sangh through "friendly" NGOs or Think Tanks buy these tools off?
Or is there something deeply Chanakyan to let these dogs keep on barking (apologies for causing offence to dogs)??

the debate that @Ancient Indian referred to, was aired y'day night on rNDTV 24x7, anchored by burqua. I just watched a few seconds of it & left it on recording. surprisingly, burqua revealed that bekar patel had in 2010 written an article telling about the link of sunni jihadism with Kashmiri separatism, thus cautioning the sympathisers (the fifth column) about associating with them. she asked why then this U-turn & change of stand now on his part. @hit&run has mentioned in another thread that the GoI has traced some 10 bank accts with money inflow from pakistan. there indeed are ideologically infected ones too among these scums, the more rabid & consistent ones, but usually it seems quite a few of this lot are the assets of US & porki deep states.
regarding the RW, the less said the better. they have a tendency to LOSE whatever assets they have from their camps; what to say about cultivating or acquiring some. most of the RW thinkers are/come from out of this fold I think.

Amnesty never backs the terror groups fighting against the US and allies. Amnesty does what US' state department tells it to do.

in light of a video of an incident that surfaced y'day, wherein 4 masked HuM terrorists came & organized a 'recruitment' rally in Kupwara distt. & openly raised flags, gave calls of jihad, touted Kalashnikovs & fired them, with youth cheering them, a strong case should be built up against AI because its such entities & their activities to which AI is giving tacit support; sedition case fits well now. if not, am sure there must be some other provisions to book them in a tight case. the offices that AI has closed down only temporarily, should remain so permanently now.

The sedition case filed against Amnesty International in Bengaluru could complicate things for the human rights advocacy group as the Home Ministry is unlikely to allow its Indian arm to be registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), thereby denying it access to foreign funds. Another proposal of Amnesty International to open a regional headquarters in Delhi is also pending. Both the proposals, a top Home Ministry official told The Hindu, are unlikely to be cleared now.

The official said it was not only the sedition case but the 2015 Kashmir report, prepared by Amnesty International, which influenced their decision. The report, Denied: Failures in accountability for human rights violations by security force personnel in Jammu and Kashmir apparently “documents the obstacles to justice faced in several cases of human rights violations believed to have been committed by Indian security force personnel in Jammu and Kashmir. It focuses particularly on Section 7 of the Armed Forces (Jammu and Kashmir) Special Powers Act, 1990 (AFSPA), which grants virtual immunity to members of the security forces from prosecution for alleged human rights violations.”
