Now we all know that Richard Fisher, who laboriously prepared the following slides, is a bit fishy and prone to odd behaviours such as wild goose chasing and day dreaming, so please don't take his words over seriously and unnecessarily lose sleep over night.
What I can assure you lot is that, by 2020, China's annual defence budget is likely to fall between $800 billion and $1 trillion, accounting for about 3% of GDP then. Anyone who craves an arms race is most welcome.
