I am happy that at least there is a semblance of discipline being enforced in the BJP. I wonder why they didn't act when Yedyurappa was goin bonkers after them in Karnataka and they were busy trying to pacify him? And I also wonder why Yeshwant Sinha was not fired as well?
It all comes to mass base. Yedurappa has mass base and therefore its not easy for BJP to let him go. OTOH, Jethmalani and Shatrugan Sinha are not indispensable. But Gadkari is also overplaying his hand. He will get booted sooner or later. He is dragging down BJP with him instead of him going alone. It is going to hurt BJP in the short run.
^^^^ I think after Kalyan Singh episode in Uttar Pradesh they were afraid to repeat the same in Karnataka. Different matter that they screwed up royally in Kar.
If Yeddy is booted out nothing much will happen in Karnataka.The lingayat mutts dictate the lingayats to whom they must vote
1 man's resignation = 3 men's resignation? In my opinion Gadkari should have left president post way before to set an example. But then question arises why should he resign for just a 'media trial'
So, Yeshwant Sinha has been left out? Ram Jethmalani had said that even Jaswant Singh was a signatory to the letter demanding that Gadkari should step down. How is it that he has merged into the shadows?
Gaddhakari is the modern day Raavan. he will ensure that complete BJP is finished before his own term as President expires. Thats what Raavan did, He ensured that all his brothers, sons & relatives get killed in battle before his own eyes.
Like it. He has only been a deadwood for the party. Also that is the only way of restoring discipline in a party.
I welcome the steps... these good for nothing attention seakers are creating problems within the party and are harmfull in longer run...
