It's still a cheap rip off. The least that would be expected would be some originality.

I liked the "All Muslims and sweet people of other religions part".;)

So all Muslims are sweet or they don't have to be sweet!

i know that already

but it does not apply here in this case : There are thousands of social networking websites and all of them offering similar features and their design too somewhat matches with each other but it does not mean only one of them is legal site and others are not. Facebook can only sue them if the source code or their copyright meterial i.e. design is stolen. That is not the case here
There difference between social N/W sites offering similar features & sites ripping off entire design.

This is clear case of intellectual property theft. Have you seen the source code? Web design of entire S/M is stolen & painted exactly the way it is. In web design parameters it is an illegal site. Design is stolen. There are tons of such rip-off available. Those site creators are not any IT professional but just copy cat tweakars with access to pirated stuff (When pak will ban those pirate sites?? LMAO!). This is clear case of copyright violation.

But creators don't have to worry because lame Pak government is not even recognized by Intellectual property Jurisdiction & Pak doesn't even member of International laws. So the anarchy can continue. Nobody cares for loosers.

i know that already
If you know the law & web design clauses, you will call it rip-off only website.

Pakistan is using the punchline which actually belongs to the Chinese. If it's easy copying it, why bother creating it?

Copy cats...

Even if they ban Facebook for whatever reason & activate these pirated rip-off, it'll never be any better. It'll remain rip-off all the time. If they can, they should try something next time with Originality o_O

If they genuinely try & put efforts with patience they can create good social n/w websites but the mindset is soo stoned that they will always continue doing so.

They say "Facebook does not care about feelings of Islamic people"
I say why the hell Facebook should care? Is Pak Facebook's girlfriend? They are business people, whatever sails their boat they will do it. Its about money & online viewer revenues.

And if they are so angry on Facebook, they should go create their own Original online place. Why wasting time in protesting against Facebook & burning US flags?? These rip-offs only show their incapability & proves them loosers...

Who are behind Facebook conspiracy?

Sajjad Shaukat

Recently, the sacrilegious caricatures competition of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) inspired by an American cartoonist on Facebook triggered protests across the Muslim world in general and Pakistan in particular. On the orders of Lahore High Court, the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) banned access to Facebook including YouTube and restricted access to Wikipedia in view of what it called "growing sacrilegious content". Apparently, people from the Western and Islamic worlds take the blasphemous drawings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as an individual act of an American cartoonist and internet users, but in fact, it is a secret conspiracy of the Jewish lobbies to manipulate the world phenomena of terrorism against the Muslims. Indian lobbies are also working with those of the Jews in inciting the sentiments of Muslims, particularly Pakistanis. In this regard, Indian secret agency, RAW and Israeli Mossad are in collusion in this conspiracy against the Islamic world, launched through the Facebook.

In fact, plotters wanted to fulfil a number of sinister designs by using the controversial Facebook competition. Notably, any representation of the Prophet Muhammad in such a way is deemed un-Islamic and blasphemous by the Muslims. The conspirators used the Facebook because they knew that entire website would annoy the Muslim users, especially young adults—because the social networking website is so popular among them and they spend most of their time on it. They intended to discourage the internet users of the Islamic World as the Facebook is also used for communication and education purposes. In Pakistan, countrywide protests were launched against the Facebook caricatures. Pakistani protesters shouted "Death to Facebook", "Death to America", and burnt US flags on May 21, venting growing anger over "sacrilegious" caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the Internet. Protests in various cities of Pakistan continued for a number of days and the protesters branded the US the "root cause of all mischief." This is what the conspirators wanted. As a matter of fact, by inciting the feelings of the people of the Islamic countries, they intended to create a greater resentment against the Western World in general and the United States in particular—and to create a rift between the Western and Islamic states. This was especially observed in Pakistan where leaders of the religious parties, journalists, students and other organizations delivered emotional speeches on this emotional matter.

In this connection, a leader of a journalist union said that the Americans and European powers were responsible for these blasphemous acts, and there was no need to have diplomatic relations with these countries. Most of the leaders, addressing the demonstrations demanded the rulers to sever diplomatic relations with the countries, involved in sacrilege of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). They asked the government to put pressure on Washington for taking stern action against the person who announced the profane cartoons contest otherwise; they would consider that the accused was enjoying backing of the American government. It also shows that this blasphemous act was done in order to deteriorate Pak-US ties, and Indo-Israeli lobbies were behind this conspiracy as Pakistan is the only nuclear country in the Islamic World. They are also working together in destabilizing Pakistan by supporting insurgency in the country and separatism in Balochistan.

Indian and Israeli lobbies with the help of fundamentalist Hindus and Jews were also behind the publications of similar caricatures in Danish newspapers in 2005 which sparked deadly protests in Muslim countries. Around 50 people were killed during demonstrations in the Islamic countries in 2006 over the caricatures, five of them in Pakistan. In that respect, Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for a suicide attack on Denmark's embassy in Islamabad in 2008, killing six people, saying it was in revenge for publication of caricatures.

However, all these measures are proving fruitless due to a deliberate anti-Muslim campaign, launched by the Indo-Israeli lobbies, creating obstacles in global cultural cooperation which is essential for global peace. America and its allies continue to kill many innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine through heavy aerial bombardment and ground shelling in the name of war on terror. US-led Indo-Israeli forces have been using every possible technique of state terrorism in these territories which have become the breeding grounds of a prolonged interaction between freedom fighters and state terrorists. The fact of the matter is that by availing the ongoing international phenomena of terrorism, Jewish-Hindu lobbies are collectively working in America and other European countries to exploit the double standards of the west in relation to terrorism and human rights vis-à-vis Pakistan and other Arab countries. Israel and India are equating the 'war of independence' in Kashmir and Palestine with terrorism. If India considers Pakistan as her enemy number one, Israel takes Iran in the same sense particularly due to its nuclear programme which is also negated by the US. Tel Aviv is also against Pakistan because of its nuclear weapons. However, all these similarities of interest have brought the two countries to follow a common secret diplomacy with the tactical support of Washington, targeting Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Syria etc.

Another regrettable point is that irresponsible attitude of some Indian, Israeli and Western politicians has introduced dangerous socio-religious dimension in their societies by equating the "war on terror" with "war on Islam" and acts of Al Qaeda with all the Muslims. Their media have also been contributing to heighten the currents of world politics on cultural and religious lines with the negative projection of Islam. In this context, release of a Dutch film against the Holy Quran in the recent past is another instance to play with the religious sentiments of the Muslims. It also seems that the US President Obama who has repeatedly remarked that his policies are different from the ex-president Bush as he was determined to compensate the injustices done with the Islamic world—but has become helpless owing to the strong Jewish pressure groups.

Nevertheless, at this critical juncture, the sacrilegious caricatures competition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has provided the terrorists with new ammunition. The blasphemous drawings will result in the recruitment of more militants by the terrorist organizations. Instead of curbing terrorism, it will cause more terrorism in the concerned countries like Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen etc. So conspirators who want to continue the vicious circle of terrorism in connection with the Muslim and the Western Worlds have succeeded in their nefarious designs. We can conclude without any doubt that there are Indo-Israeli lobbies working behind all these hatred against Islam and they are continuously doing so with the aim that the Muslims get incited and take that kind of stuff like suicide bombing.

Blasphemous material

By our correspondent

BAHAWALPUR: The Lahore High Court has directed the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to immediately block nine websites for publishing and promoting sacrilegious material, and ordered the PTA chairman to appear in the court on June 28, 2010 along with all relevant material.

Justice Mazher Iqbal Sidhu of the LHC Bahawalpur Bench, while hearing a write petition on Tuesday, ordered blocking of nine websites including Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, YouTube, Google, Islam Exposed, In The Name Of Allah, Amazon and Bing.

A citizen, Muhammad Sidiq, filed a writ petition No. 3246/2010 in the LHC, seeking a ban on the websites for publishing blasphemous materials and twisting the facts and figure of Holy Quran. Deputy Attorney General Muhammad Hussain Azad also endorsed the viewpoint of the petitioner and demanded blocking of these websites.

Counsel for the petitioner, Latif-ur-Rehman Advocate presented CDs and other evidence in the court, showing that the said websites were publishing sacrilegious material. Later, President High Court Bar Aslam Dhakkar said the court has given a historic decision. He said the legal fraternity would observe a complete strike in Bahawalpur on Wednesday (today) against publication of such material by these websites. He said a meeting would also discuss the situation today.

Here we Go Again: Pak court orders ban on Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, 6 other websites

Welcome to the Jungle errrrrr Back to Stone Age =xD=xD

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani court has reportedly ordered a ban on nine leading websites, including Google and Hotmail, for allegedly posting blasphemous material though officials today said they had not received any instruction to block the sites.

Media reports said the Bahawalpur bench of the Lahore High Court yesterday directed the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to immediately block nine websites, including Google, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, YouTube, Bing and Amazon, for publishing and promoting sacrilegious and blasphemous material.

Justice Mazher Iqbal Sidhu issued the order while hearing a petition filed by a man named Muhammad Sidiq who claimed these websites were publishing sacrilegious material.

The judge also ordered the PTA chairman to appear in court on June 28 with relevant materials.

Sidiq, in his petition, sought a ban on the websites for publishing blasphemous materials and twisting facts about the Quran.

Aslam Dhakkar, head of a local bar association, was quoted as saying that the court had given a historic decision.

He said the legal fraternity in Bahawalpur would observe a strike today to protest the publication of blasphemous material by the websites.

However, officials of the PTA said that they had received no instructions to block the websites.

They said they had only seen media reports about the court's order.

Wahaj-us-Siraj, a spokesman for the Internet Service Providers Association of Pakistan, said his organisation had not received any directions from the PTA to block websites.

Pakistani authorities had blocked popular social networking website Facebook in May over the holding of a competition on blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Mohammed.

The access to the website was later restored on the orders of the court.

Facebook banned in Pakistan

The Lahore High Court has directed Pakistani authorities to block access to all websites, including Facebook, that are involved in "spreading religious hatred" and to submit a compliance report by October 6.

In an order issued on Monday, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed directed the Information Technology Ministry to "deny access to all websites in Pakistan involved in spreading religious hatred".

However, the judge directed the ministry that access to Google or other search engines should not be denied.

He directed the authorities to submit a report on the implementation of the court s order by October 6.

Classic- Irony in your subtlety is a dead ringer of the past footprint and future direction that Pakistan is headed. Kinda sad

It's what I call the 1% theory--- which is if 1% of bad is seen, ignore 99% of good. FAIL!
