Well disappointed to see IAF pilots flying SU-30 like donkey. They avoided extreme acrobats like cobra and others performed well by refale and eurofighter.

Yeh, they were very clearly holding back. I think they wanted to make the Tejas or the MMRCA, and perhaps even the Sarang, the centrepiece of this show. There might also be a political logic in mind: If I were the Director of the Aero India show, as a new era of India-US defence ties dawns, I'd think to showcase less and less of Russian weaponry, per my political mandate, and less spectacularly.

Remember, we donot have the liberty to use our aircrafts which are currently in active service for pleasing crowds and perform cobra, everyone knows how the MKI performs cobra, but by doing so, it takes a toll on the airframe which we can't afford, while the Tejas can afford to do so as it has to prove itself to the IAF first.
