We should have a collective sigh of relief. Election was very tough and intense. This election was filled with tense moments.

Finally we get a good government. A government that will deliver on its promises.

This is what we fought for.

Privatization of OFB was never on the table. It cannot be done.

    You should reframe your statement.

Main thing is buying from private industry which is happening.

I want to see one LCA line given to Tatas. And bulk orders of artillery and AFVs on private players. Large orders of frigates to private players.

It seems Americans have sensed that F21 will not be bought. So noise about S400.
More orders for Rafale quite likely. Maybe 36 more Rafales on the way.

She is a go getter. Policy will be formed at PMO level, which she will be implementing. I agree she is a good administrator & hard working & that's why she is chosen. She will get the decisions & directions from PMO implemented

OFB and other DPSU's have become sacred cows. Can't be shut down...can't be privatized...can't be ignored. Even try to suggest giving LCA production to Tata and watch the chaos that will start with Leftie fringe and lunatic RaGa. Don't forget these all have tens of thousands of "employees" dependent on govt money...so you can't just wait for them to go out of business quietly...they will become a lead weight around the exchequer (well they already are)....better to just find better ways of utilize them and make them actually work

Why everyone thinks that Nirmala Sitaraman is just 'rubber stamp' ????? By the logic that every important decisions are directed by PMO then every ministry itself directed by rubber stamp ministrrs

Nobody is rubber stamp. Indian govt is so big that one person can never run it.
This rubber stamp is figment of somebody's imagination.

    NS is able administrator.

Rejoice my friends. Ninda Turtle has become Raksha Mantri!

At least as a physicist he can read specifications, data-sheets and catalogues well.

People forget that our system of Govt puts the Minister only as a public figurehead. ALL ministers are "rubber stamp" for the civil service which actually does the day to day running. Only in major policy decisions does the Minister intervene and that too at direction and consent of the PM

Smriti Irani gets Women and Child welfare. A lot of foreign ngos operate through this ministry as their target is to convert women and kids specifically (and many of them wear the feminism mask). Watch out for hit jobs, if she takes them on.

Amit Shah as Home Minister, possibilities:
    • Jai Shri Ram, Diwali 2019
    • Om Nama Shivaaye 2020 (original Kashi Vishwanath under Gyanvapi mosque)
    • Major Hindu temples being declared special administrative regions, with limited applicability of Constitution (no more rubbish such as secularism, gender-warfare, etc.)
    • Bye bye Article 370, 35A
    • Article 356 and AFSPA in West Bengal to bludgeon the Mamata regime
    • Nationwide NRC, nice time to be a travel agent
    • 2021 Census with intricate details of religion, caste, linguistics
    • Swagatham Uniform Civil Code
    • Trifurcation of J&K as Kashmir state, Jammu state, and Ladakh state/UT
    • Trifurcation of UP as Braj/Western UP (Meerut capital), Purvanchal Pradesh (Varanasi capital), and remaining UP as it is.
    • Anal rape by a horny donkey as minimum punishment for sedition/seditious statements. Saudis will sit in the waiting room with pen and paper to jot down notes.
    • Restructuring of CBI into a statutory institution that does not require "general consent" by states
    • IB will be empowered to Gestapo-levels
    • And many more....

Why you want this? I don't see any logic behind dividing UP. The only benefit is that more CM post will be created for accommodating more leaders. But otherwise,it is a waste

Because UP is still a big and inefficient state, and trifurcation will permanently neuter SP/BSP.

Western UP with Meerut capital will ensure GZB and Noida don't remain fiefdoms of the IAS babus, and has increased oversight from a state capital. It will also check demographic erosion in that area.

Purvanchal is way too densely populated and inefficiently governed. It has been in need of statehood since 1970s.
