Now that Putin is the President, the much needed unpredictability in US-Russia relations might make a comeback. I am certainly not complaining, but looking forward to it. Go Putin! Show Obama/Romney who and what a Russian patriot really is and can be.

^^ Yup. Got it. Putin deserves it. Anyway I watched the ceremony live yesterday (or today, rather) at 4 am in the morning (yup same time zone as you). Couldn't get a video link. Couldn't obviously post the live feed. So try finding a video. Thanks. And the Kremlin looks magnificent. :whoa:

Very gaudy architecture.

I believe there has been protest over his having become President.

Show some more pictures, please.

There are always protests. Most of my Russian friends, prima facie, support Putin. Not that they are unaware of his escapades with Alina Kabaeva, or his support for the Kadyrovtsy; but they all maintain, there isn't a better person than him.

I have no reason to disagree.

Of all the cities in Europe, someone exclaimed, first comes Paris, and then St. Petersburg, when it comes to beauty and architecture. I'd say, Moscow comes a close third. :)

Yet, all built upon the blood and sweat of the Russians serfs, and vassals!

Good thing for Russia !! It's nice to see someone watching RT channel. It is a far better channel than any of the main stream media aired in US.

All channels have got some degree of BS. So I watch a lot of news channels to balance out the BS.
But, yeah RT's way better than BBC(Brit BS Corp) and CNN (c*nt News Network)
