when the Chinese where building dams across river Brahmaputra, the Indian news channels screamed foul. then the Indian ministry replied that they are keeping an eye on those projects through satellite. immediately china warned India for scanning Chinese assets.

but India is quite on the issue,
That is the news for me. Everyone in P5 has been busy watching others facilities from space, including their own friends, But no one complained about being watched. why single out india?

Can you please provide the link that Chinese warned India for scanning Chinese assets through satellite.

What's this bullsh*t about "indian waters"?

It's called the Indian OCEAN, and last time I checked, it was classified INTERNATIONAL WATERS under international law, waters through which flow trillions of dollars in Chinese trade every year.

China has every right to monitor its SLOCs, a right every P5 nation and any serious space-fairing nation excercises regularly.

The tendency of Indian defence orgs to use the media and the China threat card to milk public fear for budget hikes is painfully obvious. But yet again, very few DFIers question any of these shody, eye-catching headlines objectively.

On satelitte and ASAT, surely India Already has libraries chock full of every single nook and crany of China and everything else that 'belongs' to China, which is basically every inch of land and water bodies from Pacific ocean in the east, all the way to European border.

Satellite fleet annihilated?
Well, do it the old way then, a la SR 71 !!
Based on recent Mar mission lift-off and the amazing flight path correction and accurate orbit injection, all India needs are swarms of one-way-ticket recce. UAVs which are self guided/autonomous.
Fine if these clear Chinese air space in one piece, and fine if it gets shot down - who cares.
It's a game of numbers.
To India, everyone around her is a potential Maha-bhoot, strictly No underestimation of their capability, i.e.: even her enemies are treated with respect, vis-a-vis, their capabilities onleee !

Does India have RealTime tracking of All chinese vessels, naval And non-?
