This is a very sad news. Unlike Libya, where India took some action to evacuate Indians, Indians in Central Africa seem to have been ignored.

Where are the travel advisories? Where are the evacuation plans? Why doesn't GoI setup an evacuation plan focusing on the strife torn regions with significant Indian population?

Do Indians look like Africans? Now the Rafale deal is really off! But France can still genuinely make amends by giving at least 5 Rafale jets for free...

Indians do not look like Africans, but Indians sure look like Wahhabi volunteer Jihadis, plenty of whom are exported by Pakistan. With Nigeria and Sudan around the corner, there is every possibility of Pakistanis operating there and fighting a holy war.

In a statement released on Monday, the French Defense Ministry said the shooting at three vehicles trying to enter the airport happened "in a particularly confusing situation", just as French troops had been fired upon "from an unknown source," AFP reported.

Another Indian and a Chadian were also injured in the incident.

"These vehicles were transporting Chadian and Indian nationals. Despite warning shots fired by troops guarding the site, the vehicles kept going at high speed.

"Two Indian nationals died. French forces immediately took charge of the injured Indian and the Chadian, who were driven to an aid facility," the statement noted.

That's why your nationals should they be killed should be killed at least by French or Italians. At least when Europeans kill them they have something of political or economic value to offer to India... (May their souls rest in peace)

Still, i feel so sorry about that. Accept condolences please.
This Incident seems to be a mistake by both sides both by security forces and the victims. India and France should be careful when it comes to Africa and their bilateral partnership which is on the cards.
