Yeddyurappa spends Rs 1.7 crore to redo home - India - The Times of India

The party with the difference is not different after all. The BJP after coming to power for the first time in the south is squandering its mandate. It has indulged in internal power struggle and personal gains while the state at large has been neglected. Its like the BJP wants to make sure it sucks out the maximum while it is there in office like there is no tomorrow.

Im sure this is the case in all states. A lot of our politicians squander large amounts of public money on themselves and their family. Let us use this thread to highlight such cases.

All this at a time when everyone was talking about austerity measures and infact going ga ga over it in the media so that the world knows that they are travelling economy (as if they were doing us a favor) etc.
Whats more, they have been going around the state asking for people to contribute generously towards the flood relief effort.

The Reddy brothers have not spared any effort too to loot the state. Their activities is eating up the forest cover of that area and the money they have earned is mind boggling. The amount they spent on elections have made them too powerful in the party. How else will anyone survive anti party activity? Someone like Jaswant Singh was removed, but the Reddys after openly revolting are getting favorable terms of settlement putting their own CM to shame.

The way Mr. Y.S. Yedyurappa was weeping on tv a few days back saying that his administration is not able to help the flood victims and those in need due to this political crisis, and now this news comes along !! How will his administration help the poor people when he himself and his shameless bunch of ministers are looting money from the state's treasury, that money which is meant for flood victims ?
