World Bank Report Calls for Major Reforms in China
The report, released in cooperation with the State Council, China's cabinet, stressed the need for significant economic reforms over the next 20 years

The report recommended steps to deal with the risks, including the risk of a hard landing in the short term, as well as challenges posed by an ageing and shrinking workforce, rising inequality, environmental stresses and external imbalances.

Laying out six strategic directions for China's future, the report urged China to continue on with its commitment to market-oriented reforms and the modernization of its domestic fiscal system.
