'We have decided to formally file asylum papers with the Indian government'

Exiled Baloch leader Brahamdagh Bugti, who has been at the forefront of the Baloch movement against Pakistan, on Monday said he would soon apply for asylum in India.

Mr. Bugti, grandson of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti who was killed by Pakistan forces 10 years ago, said he would file the asylum application to the Indian government through the country’s embassy here soon.

“We have decided to formally file asylum papers to the Indian Government soon. We will follow the legal process for the application,” he told reporters here.

Mr. Bugti, who is currently living in exile in Switzerland, said his Baloch Republican Party had decided to approach the International Criminal Court against Pakistani army generals.

Mr. Bugti said the Baloch Republican Party has also decided to file a case against China at the International Court of Justice and to do it, the party would approach India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh for help.

Last month, Mr. Bugti thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for raising the issue of the situation in Balochistan in his Independence Day speech.

Now that's going to be a slap on the face for Pakistan. Hope he gets asylum so he can use India as a base to propagate the atrocities and genocide committed by the rapist Pakistan Army and its proxies by visiting all parts of the globe which he cannot do at present.

He would also be able to raise the issue in the International Criminal Court, Hague for war crimes against humanity by the Paki Army generals who are committing genocide of the Baloch.

We need to sock it in and declare Pakistan a terrorist state in Parliament.
