Let me give you a recent example, Elections were held on Vacant seat in Rawalpindi, Main Candidates were
1) Seikh Rashid, Agenda was was welfare of 'comon man'
2) A candidate from Nawaz Sharif's party, Forget his name lol, agenda was same no America CIA BS
3 & 4) Candidate from PTI(Imran Khan Party) & JI, agenda, talks with taliban, go away america all CIA/Mossad Nexus, Black water, khilafat stuff

Results, Person from Nawaz's party 84K votes, Sheikh Rashid 60K votes & rest of two from PTI & JI 2K & 3K votes respectively, now tell me with all your honesty what do you think?

Even if Zion Hamid became leader he won't have any broad support

Anyway, I am not going to get into this game of proving that he is making an impact in Pakistan. To me that is obvious.
You feel his impact is limited, I think it is already large and growing. It is more a matter of perceptions now.

Her reasoning is completely flawed. You don't gauge a tv personality's popularity by comparing election results of politicians.
Millions are subtly impacted by him ... that is more dangerous than having thousands of diehard fans. He is polarizing Pakistanis.

Of course, the strategists and very very high ups are totally against what Zaid Hamid is preaching on the ground. It gives a level of plausible deniability as well. I respect the fact that Emo Girl as a Pakistani isn't down with this clown. But I do not understand why she can't make the government connection with the way this personality has so quickly soared and the purpose behind people like him.

Post 9/11 there were talks in the american society of this being an inside job, and there were thousands of conspiracy theories floating about. However, not only did the media give coverage to conspiracy theorists but also to experts who debunked these conspiracy theories. And today the debate is settled against teh conspiracy theories.

In Pakistan this is not happening. Zaid Hamid is not being challenged. People who are opposed to him are indifferent, people who support him are lapping up his every word.

What is even more frightening is that Zaid Hamid's arguments are built on flimsy foundation. The very fact that he is there still on TV, social media unchallenged unrivaled peddling BS, means he has already effected a severe change in the Pak Psyche.

Will any sane knowledgeable society not laugh at, barf at, protest against and object to to such BS ?
