I think, the Idea of creation of a new State should depend upon the amount of Development or rather the lack of Development happening in that Region, If an area fits the criteria and the nearby Area is developing then i think we should go forward with the creation of the state.

To me, the criteria should not be just on the basis of a Language Alone.

    Interesting point.

But then there will be a clamour from Maithili speaking people too!

This is the original script of the Maithili language known as Mithilakshar.

It is akin to the Bengali and Assamese scripts.

Director Nitin Chandra says it is sad that despite a huge market in India and abroad, Bhojpuri films, being frowned upon for its C-grade content, have not grown and that it's time to revive it.

"There are countries where Bhojpuri is spoken. Fiji, Suriname, Mauritius, Trinidad and many other countries have millions of Bhojpuri speaking people. Market is created, it's not god gifted. I am trying to create one," he said.

I had heard about Maithili Brahmins and also that Mithila was an important center of learning during the ancient ages. Maybe our Bengali script was the basis for Mithila script or vice versa.

The Bengali script evolved from the Siddhông script, which belongs to the Brahmic family of scripts.

Brāhmī is the modern name given to the one of the oldest scripts used on the Indian Subcontinent and in Central Asia, during the final centuries BCE and the early centuries CE. & which gave rise to the Assamese script, Bengali script, Tibetan script and also inspired Japanese kana script.
