    Who Numbered Hatf Missiles?

An interesting observation about Hatf missiles of Al Bakistan has been made by some shaheens. No need to tell you that Hatf is completely indigenous to Al Bakistan and has no moral, financial, technical or physical support from -----land. These missiles are taller, thicker and fairer than those of Banyastani missiles. Coming back to the observation, some shaheen posted a chronology of Hatf Missiles on Al Bakistan Defense Forum.

Lets check the first launch date of all the Hatf missiles in chronological order:

    Hatf-2 Shadoz SRBM 24 May 1988
    Hatf-1 BRBM 06 Feb 1989
    Hatf-5A Ghauri-I MRBM 07 Apr 1998
    Hatf-5B Ghauri-II IRBM 14 Apr 1999
    Hatf-4 Shaheen-I SRBM 15 Apr 1999
    Hatf-3 Ghaznavi SRBM 26 May 2002
    Hatf-2 Abdali SRBM 28 May 2002
    Hatf-6 Shaheen-II IRBM 09 Mar 2004
    Hatf-7 Babur GLCM 12 Aug 2005
    Hatf-8 Ra’ad ALCM 04 Sep 2007
    Hatf-9 Nasr BRBM 19 Apr 2011

Now the 5 Kg gold asharfis question is, who numbered these missiles? Was the same man responsible for doing the countdown as well? If yes, how did he count… 10, 9,4,7,3,37…..

Answe your jawaabs in the comment section.

I think Pakistani counting system follows the Fibonacci Series, or maybe the amplitude of a damped simple harmonic motion.

they were named during the development period.

there are many more project..which were later cancelled

initially when in 1987 the ballistic missile program was started..there were many project to be completely indigenously developed but after extensive failure..they realized that the short cut is only importing the technology.
