Although I have my doubts on the validity of some of the data, anyways..

IMO, in terms of quality of men, there's no difference.
In terms of quantity, India is at advantage.
But in terms of quality of equipment, France is slightly in a better position.

They have a robust defense industry and are one of the world's largest arms exporters which says a lot about the quality of their equipment.
