Who has Congress appeased most, Muslims or Christians? - Bangalore Mirror
If christains did n`t supported to congress then whom they support
Is there any statistic on Christians' support for Congress?
George Fernandez was an ally of BJP. Derek O'Brien is a TMC politician. I think one cannot generalize.
Well congress believes that most minorties support them and such information is spread every avaliable media tool
TMC is off-shoot of congress
The crux of the matter is khangress supported systematic ethnic cleansing, many Hindus were converted to Christianity under this UPA 1 & 2.
Equal support was extended to Muslims when ever the later was involved anti-national activities & in the process suppressed the majority community.
Were Hindus converted to Christianity under NDA?
Not sure. But hindus were converted in UPA regimes.
There was a high level of appeasement done to both the communities in general. Muslims were known more because of higher population.
there will be here and there!
Under upa,its worse!
On the issue of conversion under any govt, it is not feasible to comment and that is where one goes wrong.
Conversion is governed by law and one can discuss the merits and demerits.
I would like to state, if I may, it is for the DM to decide and the Union Govt is hardly in a position, be it the UPA or NDA to intervene.
That is what I feel.
if someone has some other views on whether the Union Govt can intercede, I would be delighted to be educated.
Let us not make sweeping statements.
The US State Department has claimed that the recent wave of anti-conversion laws in various Indian states passed by some states is seen as gradual increase in the traditional nationalism(Hindutva).
I wonder if we are to be guided by foreign nations.
Do we guide them when they undertake horrific crimes as done by the KKK or white supremacists?
When Modi visits the US, and if and when he addresses the Congress, he should make it clear that US laws and US State Department's jurisdiction ends at the external borders of the US, and that Americans should relieve themselves of this worry about what laws Indian parliaments* pass.
N.B.: The word parliament is used in the generic sense, and includes Lok Sabha and the State Assemblies.
I hope he does. He has even criticized China for supporting Pakistan during China tour.
The Congress has appeased none except themselves and sedated themselves from looking at reality in its face!
Modi should keep switching languages (of India) so that the US goes into a tizzy to find out what he is actually saying.
By the time he returns to India, the US will still be guessing and would not be able to give an appropriate answer while he is in the US!
