Only 0.001 % of Population knows and cares about Roma, If You see the practical scenario, Many of them are fed up with rising prices, lack of infrastructure, lack of oppurtunity, you think if you say about Roma anybody will act?

But i still think BJP will be the party which might support the cause of Romani's. Try getting in touch with the Local Indian Embassy and make them aware.

Here we have a ready made opportunity to have natural long term friends having an established presence in Europe , albeit a little stranded and persecuted these days , looking for a bit of support from a race they consider to be ancestrally related,
but instead of identifying this opportunity as Godsent and giving a little bit of consideration to these innocent queries, we waste no time in being as arrogant as possible & see this as a chance to flaunt our deluded notions of grandiosity based on chickens that haven't quite hatched yet,

    Really Commendable. :frusty:

I wont be surprised if at some later date i find some of these people writing a thesis on the great Indian tradition of of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam"

Hi @Soul83, pl ignore some of the juvenile types on the forum who tend to go off at a tangent on any given topic !

I supported Congress party at one time, during 2009 elections, unaware of the massive corruption they were carrying out behind the scenes, mainly because Dr Manmohan Singh seemed like such an honest guy and had such a distinguished career earlier as an academic and then as technocrat. Had some fleeting sympathy for AAP but that party turned out to be the den of people with extreme leftist views, to the point of being anti-national.

Currently support BJP or Bharatiya Janata Party for their nationalist outlook and conservative fiscal policies. Also, the Loksatta Party of Jayaprakash Narayan for their socially libral and fiscally conservative outlook.

Never supported the Communists of any flavour.
