Which IAF fighter is the best ever , to go into Combat, means fighter which has seen combat in IAF colour . If ur refering to Su-30MKI then i think u have understood wrongly

I missed Su-7 , Mig-29 has already seen combat in 1999 Kargil Ops safed sagar

Undoubtedly the Gnat.

It went against a more advanced adversary and cleaned their clocks every time. It earned a name for itself in combat and its performance in the hands of Indian pilots became legendary.

According to me, no other fighter has been as prolific in combat as the Gnat in IAF.

More than 50years old but it still pack lot of punch
This plane is legendary and no fancy Rafale or SU-30MKI will mark IAF history as MIG-21.

if i have the chance to go into combat i will definitely choose the legendary Mig-29 "Fulcrum"!the pakis were sh*t scared of this fighter during Operation Safed Sagar and didn't have an answer to this wonderful combat aircraft(man their F-16A/B ran away as soon as they saw the Fulcrums in front of them):cool2:
