Iran has faced sanctions so definitely Pak has a upper hand, but with restrictions out, Iran can buy a whole lot more than Pak. Economically Iran has a better chance of building a better armed force than Pak in the long run.

I guess I have to watch Gandhi movie again...to refresh my memory about your history. I guess you got your country from Brits peacefully, so it is unfortunate that these disputes with Pakistan and Bangladesh came later. We Finns also lost land to Russia in the forties, that did not stop us becoming greatest country in the world who have good relations with all neighbours. Muslims in Finland are good citizen here. Maybe because of this:

the issue is that we are hated due to the core of our identity of being hindus..... Otherwise language, culture (not all aspects), food is pretty similar in pak & ind and ofcourse genetics

Pakistan army is good but they will find though resistance when entering Iranian cities , village etc but on other hand Iranian army will have a welcoming when they enter Baluchistan, fata,sindh they may face resistance in Punjab.
so who will win dunno but 1 will find it easy capturing n 2 will find it very hard

Paki military equipment is mostly donated stuff from US and crap they get from china but in terms of Ballistic missiles and ABM like S-200 and now maybe S-300 they are way behind the Iranians. The Iranians have better navy and their air force fought against a country being supplied by US, France and UK and fared very well. Pakis got their ass handed back to them in every war except with paki civilians and Bangladeshis. Anyway India Iran defence pact of 2003 makes sure pakis will not dare to move against Iran.

In isolation, Pakis hold the edge. However, if there's ever a war between the two countries (eg: over Balochistan), then India will heat up Pakis' eastern border, to thin their strength against Iran. Iran doesn't really have such a "heating element" that could blunt its war efforts.

You are the descendant of a Rajakar, and still dream about East and West pakistan. I'd have given you benefit of doubt if youvat least used Bangladesh instead of smaller Pakistan.
