hi I test the speed of my internet in many sites I got the best and accurate speed results from this site scanmyspeed.com
my results are
download=1.04kbps
upload=0.77kbps
here they provide accurate and standard results.

50 Mbps. Beam guys said their goal is to offer people of Hyderabad 250 Mbps (two hundred and fifty megabits per second) unlimited for 2500/month in a couple of years, once their infrastructure is laid out.

That should mean that 50 Mbps unlimited would come well under 1000/month for us.

Will this ever be in Tamil Nadu....????? we are just a few KMs away you know.... can you please ask them to come here..... The BSNL here SUCKS(big time)

Speed of my cable internet is about 90 to 108 kbps on a good day. I also possess a TaTa photon plus connection , with a stable speed around 35 to 50 kbps.

Signed up for YOU Broadband & Cable India Ltd., High speed broadband plans 1Mbps to 12Mbps they will install in 3 days. Will have a 12mbps connection. They have 24mbps also but i will think about it later.

WiBro is the new kid in the block, a good plan can fit both in a Mobile and a cellphone equally, just you will need the equipment, i.e. WiBro enabled Mobile and Laptop. WiMax is the answer to the next generation, it is cheaper then 3G (well 3G was never cheap ) because cost of infrastructure is lower. So who ever is thinking of buying a new Laptop or Mobile make sure it in WiBro enabled.

it shows Wimax is available in my state for Rs. 1k/month- 512 kbps - Unimited
And considering that if I have a WiBro Laptop and mobile I will be able to access High speed internet equally on both mobile and Laptop fr Rs. 1K/ month
