If they have carriers and imagine India is confronting both China and Pakistan both possible Russia is siding India! Could Indian navy relocate her carriers to south Indian Ocean?

China only planning to have 1 CBG by 2014 that also to counter her neighbours on east side (Japan, S.K., Vietnam)

Pakistan can't afford a single CBG for next 10-15 years minimum.

Indian will operate 3 CBG by 2014. All our CBG will be in Indian ocean region. Don't forget we have 4th CBG as Andamaan & Nicobar Island (natural big carrier). Standing @ door of Malacca strait where 80% Chinese shipment crosses.

One CBG will always be @ west, 1 @ east and 1 @ south.

Indian Navy is better than Chinese one. Do remember, China naval base would be 7,000 Km away from SL whereas we will be just 100 km away.

How huge is a debt? Having debt to repay does not mean you have to sell yourself to them.

Your president is clever by half. Yes India has made mistakes because of other issues, but SL should limit the Chinese to building infrastructure on pure business terms and not think about "strategic ties".
