Heard majority of them. I use michillin tires. ;) Gillette razor. Didn't know it was from France. Thought it was from the US!!
I think Gillette was always a US based company, and with the buy-out by P&G they are a definite part of a US based company.

If it's electronic goods-- made in Japan, made in Taiwan.
If it's defence- I don't mind, made in France or made in USA.
If it's bikes- Made in Italy :)

I only check if it is made in China.

Having found an equipment so made, I leave it for other customers to 'enjoy' the wonder!

Yet, if it were some 'throwables' i.e. being cheap and so not too irksome on the pocket, I might buy them as a temporary measure.

Will surly try it if I spot it!

The brands Lois Vuitton and Henessy are owned by a South African company called Richmont, which is owned by the Anton family(South African). In south Africa, although there is mass scale imports, by national apparel retailers, from China, I myself try not to buy Chineses, purely because of the quality. Growing numbers of people share this sentiment. I also import leather goods (on a small scale) from India and find that people are generally more accepting of the product if it is made in India rather than China. The market I deal with is an educated and reasonable affluent market.
