The breakup or the meltdown of Pakistan is in nobody's interest, definitely not India's. Just bear in mind what happened in Afghanistan after its collapse from years of war with the Soviets. It became a hotbed and incubator of militancy.

A breakup and refugee problem is the last thing India wants, India has experienced this twice in the last 66 years;first during and the second time in 1971 when Bangladesh was created. Also recently experienced recently to a much lesser degree from Sri Lanka's genocide of the tamils in their attempt to wipe out the tamil tigers.

Why would we want Pakistan not to collapse? Who are we trying to impress by such statement? The existence of Pakistan is a major threat and if it collapses like Bangladesh we would have far less threat. The nukes can be taken out by NATO and that is not an issue.

Today Bangladesh is a farless threat than Pakistan is and similar bifurcation into smaller states would mean they will not threaten us to much. We should take the lessons of 1972 war, Bangladesh is not any major threat compared to Pakistan and as long as Pak is large they will try to destroy India. They are an immature people and weapons in their hands is like guns at the hands of an teenager.

pakistan is not bangladesh or sri lanka as to underestimate a disintegration. the idea of pakistan is supported by many countries who have interests as in pakistan as a global jihad sanctuary;hotbed of terrorism.

it is amusing to see an army with jihad as its ideology and world domination as its core aim(Ghazwa). unlike Sri Lanka or Bangladesh, pakistan nation is brainwashed totally and they will work like a cult which will fight together even under foreign invasion. it is not easy to dream of disintegration of a region which is united under religion NOT with language or ethnic lines.

It may be even easier to disintegrate since it is united along the religious lines. There is still a shiite-sunni divide and also the obvious fact that there are ethnic differences.

nothing of this sort would happen with pakistan break up. the east pakistan/banglis never considered themselves pakistanis, they were miles apart from west pakistan and they spoke bengali, not urdu!

they had no common stuff to be called pakistani, they were separated from india because of divide on the basis of hindu or muslim. so the muslim lands were called pakistan.

with the current scenario of pakistan breaking up, expect the minorities of pakistan to seek refuge in india, not muslims!

break up pakistan wont be like ussr leaving afghanistan in total chaos......sindhis want their own sindh, punjabis want their punjab, pathans want their pakhtoonistan and balochis want their independent.

ofcourse, the POK would be reunited with the rest of the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

How do we know it is going to Saudi or China? China already has nukes and it wont mean thing and NATO has some contingency plan for takeing out the nukes.

pak nukes have become dangerous for every country around pakistan. now they are going for smaller nukes for battle field deployment, tactical nuclear weapon (TNW), which are easy to pass on to the jehadis or could be easily used by a corp commander without any authorisation from his superior.

these kinds of TNW are more of a suitcase bomb which is troubling everyone including the west.

also pak has declared that it will not shy away from using TNWs on its own soil in case indian army went too much inside pak, and its existance is under threat.

passing of the TNWs to jehid elements by the pak army or isi cant be ruled out!

next 5 years of existance of pakistan is very crucial, Specially to India!!

yanks have a nuke extraction team ready in the vicinity of pakistan, india should activily support and participate with the yanks!
