what he said was that there are three regions in ayodhya itself where people claim Ram was born. And then in Kaushalaya Puram in Haryana, people claim Ram was born there because that was Kaushalayar's "maika". So in Urdu he said "ab bataaiye kahaan kahaan Kaushalaya ne janam diya".

Hyderabad court admits plea against MIM MLA

Seventh additional chief metropolitan magistrate will hear the petition on Monday. It was filed by K Karunasagar who accused Akbaruddin Owaisi of making provocative and derogatory comments in his address at a public meeting at Nirmal town of Adilabad district. His speech had created an uproar after its excerpts were loaded on the YouTube that went viral on social media websites. Akbaruddin Owaisi is known for his controversial and fiery speeches. Even veteran journalists, Karan Thapar and Swapan Dasgupta disapproved of his remarks.

Akbar's alleged remark, "Get the Police out of the way for 15 minutes and we will show you who is more powerful," evoked strong reactions from across the social media and also spurred the BJP leader to take him to court.

He made the comment in the context of the grouse that police always sides with the majority community against the minority community. In his petition, Karunasagar requested the court to try Akbaruddin under Section 295-A, 298 and 153 A of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The public meeting, where the controversial speech was made, was part of the Statewide campaign the MIM and United Muslim Forum had launched against State's ruling Congress party after MIM withdrew the support of its seven MLAs from the State Government.

MIM took the step after Kiran Kumar Reddy Government allowed alterations in a disputed temple adjacent to historic monument Charminar, sparking major communal troubles in the city. Angered over the development, MIM alleged that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had joined hands with the Sangh Parivar. MIM had said that its top priority would be to bring down the Congress Government in the State. Meanwhile, in another indication of increasing bitterness between the MIM and Congress Government, MIM's Corporator Mohamed Ghouse and two other activists were arrested by the city Police in connection with the communal disturbances in the old city over the temple row.

Anyway I expected to read condemnation from the secular brigade and Muslim clerics which are usually quick to target any wrongs of the Hindus.
