The ceremony was presided over by Air Vice Marshal P P Khandekar, commandant and director in presence of all heads of faculties of MILIT and faculty members of DIAT (DU).
The passing course consisted of 49 officers of Indian Navy and one from theIndian Coast Guard. This course is part of the two-year specialisation course for the electrical officers of the Navy, which they are required to completebefore taking up appointments onboard the Naval ships. This forms one of the most technically intensive courses the officers have to undergo during their specialisation phase.
During the course, the officers are trained on basic principles and applied technologies in the fields of Missile systems, Warheads and Naval Armament by expert faculty of MILIT and DIAT (DU).
SLt Mohit Cheba topped the course, while Lt Satish S Yamagekar and Lt Mayank Aggarwal stood second and third. They were awarded a certificate of merit by the Chief Guest.
