The expeditionary fighting vehicle, known as an EFV, demonstrated its abilities on land and in the waters off Camp Pendleton
The EFV can carry 17 fully-outfitted Marines 25 miles from ship to shore faster than anything else they own.

This is on the cutting block now as a super flop, because being a boat it can't protect the marines inside as well as a tank. I post this to show, Americans also fail , even today and this is 3 BILLION dollar flop was slated for another 13 billion dollars grant from the govt. ! DEF Sec Gates has put in the killing block!
