dont you think we have less numbers as we have to counter many corner ....

well fact is that we are lacking in numbers in all three field (army, nay, airfoce)

I don't think we have less number at all, these are not even close to Brahmaputra class frigates..

Our numbers are more than enough and it will increase more in due time..

Army is good too so does the Air-force..

Do not worry about weapons and weapons systems. The most sophisticated parts of the ship will be removed prior to the ship's hand-over to Pakistan. Note that the Hamilton Class cutter transferred to the Philippine Navy was stripped of weapons systems and sophisticated radar. Of the original weapons on board only the OTO Melara Mk 75 76 mm/62 caliber naval gun was left on the ship and a basic navigations radar.

I am not worried about the weapon systems, man. Just thinking that US is indeed a PHD in two-timing. That's all.

Maybe more than 20 years. Note that the INS Viraat was commissioned in 1959 and is still going strong now. This Perry class ship was only commissioned in 1979.
The smaller the tonnage of a ship, the less lifespan it has. Pushing this ship past 30 is very expensive on maintenance. The Viraat is not going strong now, it is down more than it is operational and that is due to its age. A 30yo OHP has no more than 10 years before it has to be scrapped.

Do the Pakistanis have other options? Or they might retire these second hand vessels within the acceptable period of service life but they will transition to canoes in the process as I don't think they'll be in a position to acquire modern replacements enough for their needs given their dire economic condition...

It is over 30 years old.

That's means more time in the dry docks!
