According to this video, the Pentagon is now drawing up plans to pre-emptively strike China.

Based on a study out of Georgetown University, a network of tunnels house up to 3000 Chinese nuclear weapons. This is seen as a wider part of US strategy to justify its current nuclear arsenal, and to prevent Obama from reducing US nukes. With Japananese and Chinese fighter jets playing cat and mouse with each other over the Pacific, these plans by the US take on even more important significance!
