(CNN) -- The United States is vacating an air base in Pakistan at Islamabad's request following a NATO attack that killed two dozen Pakistani soldiers.

Great. The US should vacate all the bases in Pakistan and withdraw all their personnel from Pakistan ASAP. Otherwise, how will they start a full fledged bombing raid over Pakistan? [wishful thinking]

The report says that the military junior officers are insisting on tougher measures and the senior officials are forced to act (symbolic gestures). But the bigger question, can the US still lunch drone attacked from inside Pakistan?

The drones and officers were like sitting ducks in the middle of a very hostile zone . It was bound to happen someday.
