    @MLRS I thought this was the number for 2012. Apparently Taliban casualties have tripled this year.

    That's true. Afghan forces are more aggressive and are not bound by silly rules of engagement.

    ANA has now reached a point where they can not be challenged by the Talibs in a conventional fight. I just think they should focus more countering IEDs, since that is the biggest threat.
