Olympian judo player, Lourembam Brojeshori Devi of Central Reserve Police Force, passed away after excessive internal bleeding due to pregnancy complications at Coimbatore on Sunday.

Brojeshori was in CRPF Training Centre in Coimbatore since last two months on a Departmental Promotion Training Program.

According to TOI reports, the 32-year-old judoka was not aware of her pregnancy and was taking part in a 10-week training camp conducted by the CRPF.
On Sunday night, she complained of stomach pain and was admitted to a hospital, where an operation was conducted. The media reports suggest that excessive internal bleeding was the cause of her death.
