WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. and Pakistani officials on Wednesday begin a third round of wide-ranging talks to broaden relations beyond the war against Islamist insurgents, but analysts expected little headway because of differing strategic interests.

^^ Guess the US generals have conveyed their displeasure over the recent hostilities that broke up between the NATO and Pakistani forces. I think Obama's plan to leave Afghanistan is mysterious... He's said he will leave, but hasn't said where he will shift. US is not leaving Asia that easily; especially a chaotic country like Pakistan that offers them an eagle's eye view on China and India simultaneously.
