Communal riots in Meerut village: Muslims attack Hindus

Two people, including a woman, were killed and over a dozen injured in clashes between two communities in a village in Uttar Pradesh, police said Saturday.

The clashes erupted in Nagla Mal village in Meerut district late Friday after a community objected to the playing of hymns at a temple, switched off the loudspeaker and beat up some men.

Police resorted to a baton charge to control the mob. A police officer has been suspended and a hunt is on to nab the rioters.

Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) R.K. Vishwakarma told IANS that one person was killed in the skirmish and the other died of a cardiac arrest.

District Magistrate Navdeep Rinwa said the National Security Act would be slapped on people who started the clashes. Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed in large numbers to prevent any further clashes.

Nobody posted about Shia-sunni riots in Kashmir either. In the third battle of Panipat, the nawab of Avadh decided to go with Sunni Abdali and Rohilla Pathans to defeat Marathas in the name of religion only. Till than, this Nawab was being sustained by Marathas. The money and supplies from him were the deciding factor in that war. The Marathas lost but you know what happened to these Nawabs, they got a reward from Sunni Abdali and Rohilla Pathans, they were butchered. In 1771, Marathas retook whole of North India and the Shias of Lucknow apologised to them and have been with Hindus since than.

BTW in each and every mosque morning prayers are played in a very loud volume, when Hindus do not object, why these idiots are objecting Hindu temple prayers?
That person who switched off the loudspeaker should be jailed (arrested) immediately.

Hmmmm..... Let's assume opposite happened, replace temple with mosque and replace UP with Gujarat. And see the magic.....
